I’m the co-founder of SpaceRef, a new media company, and the Executive Director of the Canadian Space Commerce Association.

Founded in 1999, SpaceRef is a new media company focused on the space sector based out of Reston, Virginia and Toronto, Ontario. The company maintains four online properties including, SpaceRef, SpaceRef Business, NASA Watch, and the Astrobiology Web. SpaceRef Interactive Canada Inc., a separate Canadian corporation, maintains the SpaceRef Canada online property. SpaceRef is a pioneer in news aggregation but also creates original content in the form of timely news stories, coverage of ongoing events and unique editorial content.

The Canadian Space Commerce Association is a registered not-for-profit industry organization that advances the economic, legal and political environment for space focused companies that I co-founded in 2007. In addition to the above, I also contribute to Futron's annual Space Competitiveness Index which is a comparative analysis of how countries invest and benefit from space industry.
